Millions of impressions later, I’m still most interested in the one person reading.

I grew up in Suzhou, China, where the gardens are designed to feel effortless: carefully constructed, but never loud about it. My parents are both engineer-minded, function over form, always. However, every so often, one of them would pause over something beautiful and say nothing at all. I learned early that the best-made crafts don't announce themselves — they reveal themselves only when you look closely.

I later studied Industrial Design at Southeast University, where I began to understand that discovery more clearly: design is not about decoration, but clarity.

New York changed the scale. At Pratt, I learned to think in systems and communicate through restraint, using white space as structure, hierarchy as guidance, and composition to help people find their way. That shift led me from designing objects to designing experiences of understanding.

Since then, I’ve applied that thinking to complex, real-world problems, translating financial concepts, pharmaceutical research, and emerging technologies into clear, scalable content systems. My work focuses on making complexity feel not just understandable, but intuitive.

I’ve built brand and design systems from the ground up and led multi-platform campaigns reaching over 16 million impressions. At their core, my work is about earning trust through clarity and precision.

I care about the details most people don’t notice, such as the weight of a typeface, the rhythm of a scroll, and the moment when someone clicks for a deeper dive. That moment is the work.

I now live in New Jersey with one cat, two shelties, and a child who is teaching me more about attention and patience than any design program ever did. Parenthood has reinforced something I return to often in my work: you can’t guide someone toward understanding until you learn to see from where they’re standing.

That’s ultimately what I do—look closely enough to understand something deeply, then shape it so someone else can understand it too.
